We spent 8 days in this amazing villa. It was beautifully clean when we arrived and equipped with everything you could need including towels for bath and pool, as well as bathrobes and slippers. Beds were super comfy too. Lots of lovely outside spaces and the wood burning oven was great. Thalia was very responsive and filled the house with fruit, drinks and wine for our arrival. She also left us some lovely pastries and honey later in the week. You can walk into Stalos in 10 mins and drive to Chania (which is lovely) in about 20 mins. We had a really relaxing week and hope to return one day.

Thalia’s place really is just the photos and more! It’s had all the privacy and comfort of a home away from home with the touches and luxury of a 5* hotel! All mod cons, quiet location, beautiful property and a 10 min walk from the town centre. Don’t hesitate to book!

Amazing villa. Very clean, with brand new appliances. Villa is in perfect condition and we had a wonderful time. Villa had its own drive so we rented a car. 10/10 from me.

The villa is perfect. Everything you could ever need is on hand, and has already been thoughtfully provided.
Pool is lovely, perfect temperature with enough space for a dip and cool off.
The outside kitchen complete with fridge and dishwasher makes outside living in the glorious Greece weather a breeze.
There are several restaurants wishing a reasonable walk although you’ll need a car to explore some of the wider area.

We recommend Villa Thalia to anyone traveling to Crete. Great location, near Chania. The premise was spotless and Thalia is extremely hospitable. She was always available to answer our questions and even gave us a great recommendation for an Ear/Nose/Throat doctor. It was nice having our own private pool. Think of her place as your home away from home.

Thalia’s hosting was second to none, and responded quickly to any enquiries. The villa is furnished to a very high standard, with beautifully landscaped gardens and immaculate attention to detail. This, combined with very thoughtful gifts such as fruits, pastries and wine during our stay, made us feel very valued as guests.

We had a fantastic stay at the beautiful Villa Thalia. On arrival to the villa we were blown away by everything, the villa and grounds were stunning! The whole villa, inside & outside was immaculately clean, the cleanest apartment I have ever stayed in, everything felt brand new. We loved using the outside eating area every day, with the fridge & dishwasher outside being great extras. We also used the BBQ and pizza oven outside which were fantastic and great to have everything provided for us to use these. Thalia was so kind and thoughtful throughout our stay, not only coming to clean the pool and collect our recycling. But she also left us lovely Cretan treats, which were so generous and lovely! The location for us was great as about a 10minute walk to the closest restaurant & supermarket but we were definitely glad to have a car with us to be able to travel further. We had an amazing trip, I would highly recommend anyone to stay at Villa Thalia and we hope to be back one day! Thanks so much Thalia!

This is a very stylish and fantastic villa. Every attention to detail is evident. Pool is warm and inviting and the location very handing and close to beach and restaurants. Very easy to drive into Chania. The villa has everything you need to dine in with a lovely outdoor seating area for evening meals. Very comfortable for up to 6 people – air conditioned, multiple WiFi inside and out and the kids appreciated Netflix!! Would not hesitate to recommend!!

Thalia’s villa exceeded all expectations. It was immaculately clean, brand new and finished to a very high standard. We made fresh juice every morning from all of the fresh fruit Thalia had left us. Small details such as USB points next to the sunbeds, face wipes in the bathrooms, fire lighters for the the barbecue, slippers… were just a few things which highlight Thalia’s thoughfulness. Thalia was unobtrusive but kindly left us pastries one morning and a leaving gift. We loved the outdoor space, various balconies to eat our breakfast or enjoy an evening glass of wine. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough -thank you Thalia.

Our family of five stayed here in June 2019. Villa Thalia is all that we could have hoped for and more. When you arrive at this newly built home, there is front parking and a beautiful stone gate around the property. The gardens have beautiful outdoor lighting, showcasing this gorgeously designed landscape wrapping around a blue tiled sparkling clean pool. We arrived a bit late from Heraklion airport and Thalia and Chara were very gracious and waited for our arrival. We received a tour of the home and amenities and they answered any questions we might have had. The fridge had fresh cherries, apricots, milk, wine and Raki! The salt water pool, patios and gardens were a dream. Looking out the master balcony, you gaze on a neighboring garden with beautiful vegetables, grape vines and rolling green hills. You can hear roosters (far off) that make it all seem like you’re far away in the countryside yet the village and beach are just down the hill. The home is decorated beautifully with the best Coco-mat mattresses and linens! This by far has been the most comfortable beds and fine linens we have slept on during our entire trip in Europe! Thalia was always available (“24/7”) to answer any questions. She dropped fresh Greek pastries at our door! Her and Chara were accommodating, thoughtful and gracious hosts. Every details is accounted for with fine taste. We recommend this home to anyone and we will definitely stay here again next time visiting Crete.

The villa was lovely with a huge outdoor space and nice pool – all looked better in real life than in the pictures. Thalia was a great host, excellent communication and gave us some really good tips on things to see and do in Crete. The villa is also in a good location with lots of amenities and beaches close by. Would definitely stay here again..

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Villa Thalia! The place exceeded our expectations. Location was perfect and Thalia the host was incredible. She recommended amazing restaurants for us to eat at, and got to see live Cretan music. Highly recommend staying here, and definitely will be coming back 🙂

Very high quality villa and pool. Everything you could want and more. Beautifully finished with many extra touches that set this villa apart. Great location, very quiet yet within easy access to facilities.

We cannot recommend this property highly enough. Top spec and attention to detail a very thoughtful and kind host. The outdoor space is fabulous whilst the interior and all facilities were just perfect for our holiday home.
